Cat6A Cable
Category 6A/Class EA cable shall be constructed of 23 AWG copper conductors with FEP Plenum (CMP) insulation.
The copper conductors shall be twisted in pairs and separated by a cross-divider. All four pairs shall be surrounded by a nonconductive foil tape and a flame retardant jacket.
The foil tape shall suppress the effects of alien crosstalk. Panduit Cat6A cable has been used in many different applications including computer networking, telephone switching, data transmission, and industrial control systems.
This cable is designed to carry high-speed digital signals over long distances. Panduit Cat6 A cable is constructed using twisted pair technology that allows for greater bandwidth than traditional coaxial cables. Twisted pair cabling uses two insulated conductors twisted together. These pairs are then wrapped in foil tape to prevent electrical interference between each other.
